Background
Novelty Express, a division of M. R. Williams Inc. was started 9 years ago working out of our parent company’s warehouse.  M.R. Williams, Inc. is a  wholesale grocery distributor that serves approx. 1200 customers in NC, SC, VA, and KY. Novelty Express has since moved into our own facility and are now operating in six states (NC, SC, VA, WV, KY, TN, MD) and DC.
 
Business
We employ a dynamic full service business model that provides approximately 40% - 50% gross profit to our clients and has a 100% guarantee on our products. 
 
Our reps visit your stores every two weeks (unless volume dictates otherwise) to clean, merchandise and replenish inventory as well as issue any credits etc. The beauty of our program is that the reps have immediate access to over 35 categories and approximately $50,000 of inventory in their truck and storage unit. This means that they custom design the order in your store based on what is selling in your area. They will work closely with the manager to understand the dynamics of the store in order to ensure success with the right programs.
